ELEMENTAL CODES
A four-song exploration of Water, Air, Fire and Earth
Elemental Codes is a four-song concept EP by Tabytha Polaris exploring Water, Air, Fire and Earth through music, personal experience, dreams, nature and symbolism.
Blending cinematic ethereal alternative pop with electronic, rock, mystical and organic influences, each song creates its own elemental world through voice, instrumentation, imagery and storytelling.
Together, Water Codes, Air Codes, Fire Codes and Earth Codes form an interconnected musical journey through restoration, strength, love, grounding and the transformative power of nature.
The Story Behind Elemental Codes
Elemental Codes began with Water Codes.
During a deeply personal period, the beaches and ocean of Long Island became a place of restoration and reflection for Tabytha. As she was learning to play the RAV Vast drum, melodies and lyrics began emerging around the energy and symbolism of water.
Completing Water Codes opened what Tabytha later described as a floodgate of ideas. The concept expanded into a four-song project exploring Water, Air, Fire and Earth, with each element connected to its own personal story, emotional experience, sound, symbolism and visual world.
Rather than simply using the four elements as a theme, Elemental Codes became a way to explore how music, nature, dreams and imagination could come together as one interconnected creative experience.
The Four Elements
Each song in Elemental Codes explores one of the four classical elements through its own story, sound, symbolism and visual world.
Water Codes reflects restoration and release. Air Codes explores strength, freedom and the cleansing power of nature. Fire Codes moves through love, dreams and dragon imagery, while Earth Codes brings the journey back to grounding, gratitude and connection with Mother Earth.
1. WATER CODES
RESTORATION • RELEASE • HEALING • FLOW
A song of restoration, release and the healing power of water. Inspired by the ocean, intention and the belief that water carries, cleanses and transforms.
Water Codes began during a deeply personal period when the beaches and ocean of Long Island became a place of restoration and reflection for Tabytha. As she was learning to play the RAV Vast drum, the melody and lyrics began to emerge, inspired by the energy and symbolism of water and by ideas surrounding intention and healing. The song became the starting point for the larger Elemental Codes concept.
Waterr Codes was the first single promoted from Elemental Codes and appeared on Upcoming 100’s Emerging 300 chart highlighting rising and independent artists.
2. AIR CODES
RENEWAL • STRENGTH • BREATH • FREEDOM
A song of renewal, inner strength and the cleansing power of air. Inspired by wind, breath, movement and the feeling of rising above pain into a stronger version of yourself.
Air Codes emerged during a period when Tabytha was beginning to regain her strength after personal pain. She repeatedly envisioned an ethereal, powerful elf-like princess standing on a windy mountain above the ocean, surrounded by moving clouds, trees and open sky. The figure could harness the wind and use it to clear away negative energy, becoming a reflection of Tabytha’s own growing inner power. The idea that air exists in the space between fire and water became an important lyrical and symbolic spark for the song.
3. FIRE CODES
LOVE • PASSION • TRANSFORMATION • DIVINE FIRE
A song of divine love, passion and transformation. Inspired by dreams of traveling through the universe with a powerful dragon protector, Fire Codes explores the intensity of true love, self-love and the courage to open the heart again.
Fire Codes was written after much of the pain that inspired the earlier songs had begun to heal, creating space for love to return.
The song grew from vivid dreams and meditative experiences in which Tabytha saw herself traveling through the universe with a beloved dragon protector, moving between realms, confronting darkness and carrying a dragon sword.
Fire became the symbol for the powerful energy of love itself — the kind of love that can ignite, transform and illuminate. The song explores romantic love, self-love and divine love, while its dramatic electric guitar and fiery visual imagery give the music a stronger, more passionate edge within the Elemental Codes collection.
4. Earth Codes
GROUNDING • GRATITUDE • NATURE • INNER LIGHT
A grounding anthem of gratitude, strength and connection to Mother Earth. Inspired by forests, sunlight, stars, bare feet on the ground and the beauty of nature, Earth Codes completes the elemental cycle by celebrating the Earth that holds every other element.
Earth Codes completes the Elemental Codes cycle by bringing the journey back to the ground beneath us.
Nature has always been a place where Tabytha reconnects and recharges — through the ocean, stars, sunrise, gardening, forests, dirt, grass and sand beneath bare feet. The song grew from that relationship with the Earth and from a deep sense of gratitude for the beauty, strength and life that surround us.
Musically, Earth Codes moves into an organic sound world of acoustic guitar, flute, strings and Taiko drums. Its message also carries the spirit of a light-warrior anthem — an invitation to recognize the light around us, remember who we are and know that those working toward something good are not alone.
